Dr Judy Hyslop

MB, BCh (Wits); MSc(Med) Child Health (Neurodevelopment)

Judy graduated from Wits Medical School and following her internship, went on to work as a medical officer in paediatrics; first at Baragwanath ICU and then in children’s outpatients at the then Coronation Hospital.  She was involved in its Developmental Clinic during that time and went on to study for the Neurodevelopmental MSc at Wits. She has worked as a medical officer in this field in private practice since 2005.

Judy’s three children are all now grown, but when her son experienced some challenges at school, developmental medicine became her passion. She approaches every child as a unique individual with strengths and abilities which need to be nurtured.
